When you create stories, do you do it in First, Second, or Third Person? & why? I have always written. Be it in my diary since 1990, stories, or poems. I've written in all three. It just depends on what I want to convey.

I prefer first person. It helps me connect with my OCs better.

When I started writing fan fiction, I began with the Third person. It was really easy to get started with the characters, but I found that the characters were "flat". Emotionless almost. I then decided to try First person, and haven't really been able to go back. I love the intimacy that gets generated, being able to hear the thoughts, feel the emotions of the characters. I've tried to write Third person recently, and I just feel that my stories are missing the "punch" that First person gives me.
