Anybody in the Military remember these? I have found civilians can buy them. Some Preppers do it for storage. Have you tried this food? What did you think of it? I haven’t tried it but I can see how it would provide valuable nutrients in a pinch.

MREs are after my time. They were called C rations when I was in the service. I did try one and it was just mediocre. In my day they even included a pack of two cigarettes which they don't do anymore.

I recall hearing about C Rations but I've never been in the military nor had close family who was in it.

I've never tried MRE's, but, sounds intriguing.
They could come in handy if needed.

Unfortunately, I haven't passed military year but my brother does and talks to me a little bit about this food from his military experiences.
