Is it something you know already? Something you yourself want to learn? I tend to write non-fiction. Glorified diary entries I call them lol Though I have found when I write out something I’m trying to learn, I learn it faster. Are you that same way?

I recently posted on Reddit about being burned out on writing, but having the desire to write something. The advice I was given was "Write what you know".
So, I know quite a bit about the style of anime writing, that being some emphasis on something being exaggerated. I have an easier time imagining wildly colored cartoon characters doing things in my mind, rather than real people -- maybe there's some aspect of fantasy with that. I like certain genres. Science Fiction, Magical Girl, Coming of Age, Comedy (while I don't write specifically in the comedy genre, I like to include comedy throughout my stories), and light-hearted romance. Sometimes, I used to do this quite a bit, since my characters are usually Japanese, or from Japan, I'll include loose translations in Japanese when I want to emphasize a character's inability to understand what's going on around them.

I think with fantasy, Sci-Fi, our imagination can go beyond the realm of reality. We can take something & create a whole story out of it.
