When does your garden start to die out at the end of the season?
My garden really didn't do so great this year, even though we got 100 veggies from it!! Next year we're doing container gardening.
Anyway, the squash bugs have infested my garden and the plants are all dying out. I'm not spending money to eradicate them and the toads have moved in to eat the bugs. Let nature have fun.

I think mine is slightly past its peak now, my moss roses are dying out, late seeds are blooming, I'm in the middle of my green bean harvest. I'd say it will be done 3 months from now if even that.

I did tomatoes in container but they were stunted, along with my flowers due to the dry weather in June. Then my tomatoes were bitter & dry.
We have toads & frogs here. Toads are around the yard & are fun to watch. I just have to make sure our cat & dog doesn't find them!

You have moss roses? I love those! Do you collect the seeds? They are tiny. I had a bunch last year but this year, as above, they were stunted. Normally I have more that have opened up but some are only an inch high.
