I had thought of ideas for topics on here editing PMs & emails. Would you like the option of being able to edit an email once it’s sent? What about unsending it altogether? I know they allow you to unsend if you do it within, think it’s only 10 seconds or so. AOL had a feature. I don’t know if they still do; never tried it out even though I have AOL lol But I remember years ago a friend of mine had sent me an email & we were going back & forth right away similar to IM but then when I went to open up the recent one, it said I couldn’t. I then realized she UNSENT it within the time frame.

Gmail has these features. They're very handy.

Undo the sending is a nice feature, not sure what you mean by editing once it's sent. Once sent, it's sent, you can't do anything more other than send a follow-up email.

Gmail has these features. They're very handy. I don't have Gmail so didn't know that. Good to know! Undo the sending is a nice feature, not sure what you mean by editing once it's sent. Once sent, it's sent, you can't do anything more other than send a follow-up email. I had thought of how we can edit Xenforo PMs even after they are sent. I figure it may be a thing for emails. Or not lol

In Gmail, you can edit after it's sent because it's not actually sent for ten to fifteen seconds after you press 'Send'. After that timeframe though, there's no going back.

Most of the time unsent emails can still be read afterwards, so the feature is kind of a meh to me. I think the best change in emails was the movement towards a thread like approach as that makes follow-up corrections much easier.
