It depends on the storyline. Sometimes the movie is better than the book. Plus in a movie, you get to see characters in a different light. I can't recall how many movies I've watched offhand. After I watch a good movie, I like searching for information on it. Sometimes I can find blogs doing a recap & reviews. Then come to find out, there was a book. Sometimes the book was from decades ago! What do you think of movies based on books? To talk about your favorite ones, go to: Favorite

The books are usually better. The movies can be good but the books are better because you can get in the person’s mind and thoughts.

Movies are never quite true to the books. If you haven't read the book before seeing the movie you won't notice, but often it is disappointing to see how the characters in the books have been changed or certain events.
