When did you get your first cell phone? What did you think about it? I was in my 30’s when we had to get a TracFone as my husband had an hour commute & phone booths were becoming obsolete. We still only use it for emergencies.

I got one when I was in my 30s and was traveling alone with my daughter to Kentucky. It was for emergencies and I didn't have any options added on so it was for phone calls only. No one I knew was into texting anyway, back then, so it didn't matter.

Hrmmmm, I want to say... around age 20 I finally got one in like 2011. Didn't use it much though, had very few friends.

I got my first one in 2006 (I think?), when I was 16 years old. It was just an old Nokia, so I didn't think much of it... but it was something .

I actually don't remember. I resisted as long as I could. I do remember my first one was a flip phone.

I was 18 years old.
That was about 21 years ago.
...Wow...
I got a Nokia phone. Obviously not a smartphone but it did have a bowling game. And I got that fancy new texting feature too!
Then I got a Razr which was the bomb!
My first smartphone was a Blackberry Curve and it was horrible.
What was your first smart phone?

Before that had the TracFone but couldn't get a good signal here. Rarely use it.
