We don't have a cell phone. I do check the computer throughout the day but I also be sure to unplug from it totally. People get so used to the notifications being right now that they forget some of us are not glued to it lol I've had people get annoyed with me when I didn't answer "now". Even if I was on, I need time to think!

When it rings...LOL! And, sometimes to check the time or make a call Otherwise, I don't 'check my cellphone' at all

More than I should, my job can have a lot of long wait times, so I'll be on it checking random videos, facebook or reddit at times.

I look at my phone when it rings to see if it's a spammer and I never answer those. I also look right away when I get a message because sometimes I have dead areas in the house and calls can't get through. But messages will, so I check to make sure someone isn't trying to get a hold of me. I'll check my email on my phone more often than on my computer but I don't always respond after reading the emails.

I'm also kind of lucky that I don't get many texts or calls, so I never have to worry about getting incoming messages often.

Once a day. Unless I'm expecting a call.
