Have you ever heard of Jewelweed? www.fs.usda.gov/wildflowers/plant-of-the-week/impatiens_capensis.shtmlIt's also called "Touch Me Not." The main feature of this is that it will treat and often quickly rid you of poison ivy. In fact, it's one of the best-proven remedies for those who wish to be chemical-free. You can also touch parts of the plant and it will explode. It is kind of interesting to do. Has anyone ever tried to grow this and keep it around for its medicinal purposes?

It will explode? Sounds like a fun plant to touch, unless the explosion is messy? Either way, sounds like something I be happy to grow.

hikershawn, demonskeith, Thank you for sharing. As for exploding, I have Hardy Geranium & their seeds "explode", propel outwards, but they do it on their own. I should try to see if they can be enticed to "explode". I found a video that shows it:
