How do you handle rude callers? What about scammers? For rude callers or just rude people in general, I get irked. Especially when it’s at a restaurant or store & they are talking loudly. I don’t need to hear the conversation. They usually have it on speaker so you can hear both sides. I just try to walk away. For Scammers, we have NoMoRobo that seems to work quite good. It won’t stop charities or humans to contact you but will stop those robotic calls. Some people use a Block Feature from their phone company.

Since I don't get out too much anymore (no money to spend), I don't really have an issue with the first set of rude behaviors. However, I do screen my calls that I do receive. If somebody can't be bothered to leave a message, they don't get a call back. (probably a scammer), if the number is hidden from my caller ID, I don't answer my phone. See the voice mail method above.

I don't even answer them, iron rule of the family. If we don't know the number, don't answer and let it go to voice mail. Only safe thing to do these days.

Just don't answer. If I don't know the number, I don't pick up.
