Since it’s that time of year, many kids & adults are out getting treats. While Trunk-or-treat is gaining in popularity, I would opt still for Trick-or-treat, going to people’s houses. Especially your neighbors who we should know anyways.

Trunk-or-treat? The heck is that? 🤔 Apparently, it's a variation of trick or treating, where everyone brings their cars to a car park, and the kids take treats from each car's trunk: www.realsimple.com/everything-you-wanted-to-know-about-trunk-or-treat-7568515Not something I've ever done (or even heard of prior to now), but I can see the appeal. It's probably safer for the kids (and only includes families who have opted into it!)

Never heard of it. And, yeah, I'd choose Trick or treat, too. Going to houses that you're familiar with and know the people...and most people keep their porch light on to let kids know that it's 'kid-friendly'

I would prefer trick or treat.

I had never heard of it either. If you'd asked me when I was (much) younger I would have said trick-or-treat but now, with the way things are today, trunk-or-treat sounds like a viable alternative.

Ken, kyng, lainee, T.T., Steve, Thank you all for your replies! Thank you to Kyng for the link. I'm surprised people never heard of it. I don't have kids but I have seen it advertised. Maybe it's more popular in some areas than others? It started in the 1990's. T.T., do you have it in your area?
