Do you send out newsletters to family & friends for the Holidays? Some people send out a recap of what’s gone on with the family & postal mail it to people. Others utilize emails. If you have sent it out, who all do you send it to? Do you include it with your Christmas card? What do you tend to write? We have never sent out a newsletter. We don’t do cards in general lol However, I think it’s a nice touch other than sending a generic card out & just signing your name.

Why would I want a newsletter from a relative that can't be bothered to stay in contact with me all year, which would make the newsletter unnecessary?

When my daughter was little, I used to write up newsletters to stick in the Christmas cards. The family loved them because I made them look really professional. I made sure there was a segment for each of us, including the dog!! But then it got hard thinking about what kind of news we should put in it, so I stopped doing it.

No newsletters here, either. I send out a few cards and write a mini-recap in the card itself
