Do you take a family photo & use that as your Christmas card? Do you do it yearly? Do you also add in a recap similar to the Newsletter? My family was never one to do a professional photo for cards. We just got the generic ones. When I started sending out my own, while I didn’t do a newsletter, I did put in a nice paragraph with something detailed.

No I don't. Never have and never will. It actually annoys me when my relatives do that.

When my daughter was little, we would take family photos every few years. We haven't done that in a while. No one wants to have their photo taken

I get lots from other family members, but thankfully my family has never done it. I would hate to have to wear a ugly sweater and be pictured in it lol.

No, we never did that. Any person who WOULD get a card from us already know what we look like:-) And, yes, for some friends and family, a small recap, to update them. For people who are closer to us, they don't need one...they already know what's going on.
