Do you get warranties for your tech & appliances? We don’t usually bother with it. Do you think it’s worth the extra money? Do you have a peace of mind?

I think paying for an extended warranty is never worth it. The only time I did it is with a washing machine in a rental property that I own as the washer always has many issues with tenant use/misuse.

Nope, most is a scam anyway and sickens me I was forced to sell it back during my retail days.
If the item breaks in the first year, manufacture should cover it, if after that the cost of the warranty could have just went to a newer version of the item.

I don't buy warranties. I try to take care of the item as best I can. The only thing I will purchase, is say an extended replacement coverage for like my smart phone, that's paid in full already. If that breaks, I'm pretty much out of luck for communicating with the world and I need a new phone. But most other tech, I can live without.

We're registered with a warranty company that will cover just about anything you buy as long as you've registered it.
