I'll be running an event at my church for ladies at the end of April. It will be indoors and will last 5 hours.
What are some things that I should keep in mind for this event, based on events you've been to that could have been improved? I could learn from others' mistakes.

What kind of event? Hope for the best. Expect the worst.

Bob sounds like a pessimist lol ...
But he asks a good question, the type of event would dictate the type of advice we could give you.

Sounds like you need to get a bingo game going or maybe Bridge if enough of them know how to play that card game.
