It's a new year, have you taken the time to re-evaluate your financial investments?
My husband panicked thinking that ours were way off course, but then he realized it wasn't as bad as he initially thought. He's moving more things into bonds this year and away from stocks though. How about you?

We put extra into our HSA (Health Savings Account) & in our 401-K. We don't have Stocks & Bonds. How would they differ from 401-K? Anybody know? Does anybody have the 401-k PLUS Stocks/Bonds?

Yeah, always a good idea to re-evaluate your financial investments...even if nothing's wrong. Doesn't hurt to double-check. Sometimes, a small move, here & there, can make a big difference.

Your 401-K might include stocks and bonds, depending on how the organization chose to invest.

AMEX offers saving with 4.5% interest. Keep that as my main savings account. Max out my 401k. Usually contibute to Roth IRA. I do the education 529 for future schoo expenses for kids and then I have the i series bond through the government. Rest of my money I put into ETFs and a few indivual stocks.

I would love to invest my money, all I have right now is a 401k but hopefully in the next ten years I can start doing something a bit more.

For those with 401k, what does your company match?

For those with 401k, what does your company match? Used to be 50%. But now it’s like 25%. I think. Not sure.
