What do you think of Blimps? Would you ride in one? What about for advertising purposes? Some notable ones were Zeppelins, Hindenburg. I would use one for advertising. Not sure how expensive it would be however! If they made any to ride in, I don’t think I would. Too much negative history for me.
“Today, blimps are primarily used for advertising, surveillance, and tourism rather than transportation. The limited number of blimps in the world is due to the high costs associated with building and maintaining them, as well as the availability of alternative technologies for similar purposes.”

I notice you didn't mention the Goodyear blimps. Blimps nowadays are extremely safe, even safer than hot air balloons.
I still wouldn't ride in one though.

I was going to but didn't know if people in other countries would know it. I wouldn't ride in one either. It'd be hard to be that high up there. Do you have that option where you live to ride in one?

Long as the weather is good that day, I wouldn't mind getting on one for a while, but not take it very far.

I do see them occasionally... wouldn't feel too bad about riding in one, as long as it was filled with helium (and not hydrogen, ĺike the Hindenburg!)

They are not for me either. Long as the weather is good that day, I wouldn't mind getting on one for a while, but not take it very far. I'd have to really think on getting in one. A short distance "may" be ok. I do see them occasionally... wouldn't feel too bad about riding in one, as long as it was filled with helium (and not hydrogen, ĺike the Hindenburg!) That's a good point about the helium vs hydrogen!

I don't think I'd ride in one myself, I honestly haven't seen blimps that often anymore. I remember watching sporting events and seeing the Goodyear blimp.

I really must be an idiot lol I never heard of a blimp 1. I know for a fact you're not an idiot. 2. Have you heard the term 'dirigible'? Same thing. If not, didn't your history class in school teach you anything about WWI or WWII?
