They can be called Twisty Straws, Silly Straws, Crazy Straws. I just have called them Twisty Straws. Have you ever used one before? I remember having one as a kid. Looking back at them now, they ARE quite silly & I can see how kids would like them. But for adults, unless you have a blast of hot water, they cannot be cleaned thoroughly in my opinion, like regular ones could be with a straw brush. Then there are those that consist of a straw for your drink & you wear it on a hat! On a similar note, the ones that are shaped as glasses! What do you think about them?

They are fun and silly to watch someone using them but I don't. I use biodegradable, hard cardboard straws.

Steve, T.T., Bob, Emerald, Doesn't seem like many adults like to use them! Kids however adore them. We have metal ones but I just get used to not using one. Do the cardboard ones have a "taste" to them? I was always curious about that.

I'm getting used to not using straws, but when I do, it's a metal one:-)

Do the cardboard ones have a "taste" to them? I was always curious about that. Not that I've noticed. I buy the sturdy cardboard ones but even those you can't leave in liquid too long. They last plenty long enough to drink a pop, soda or cola or whatever you call it where y'all are from. I like that they are biodegradable.
