Do you prefer old 80’s intros or the newer ones? Sitcoms from the 80’s had long intros whereas newer ones just get right to the show. I liked older ones with the catchy song complete with scenes to help you know what the sitcom will even be about.

Yeah, I think it's a shame a lot of modern shows don't have great intros. I blame Netflix and other streaming services: there's not a lot of point in making a proper intro when most people will skip it!
One modern show whose intro I like is Stranger Things: it's quite eerie, and does a great job if setting the tone. (But since the show is set in the 80s, I think it's appropriate that it has a proper intro sequence, like those 80s sitcoms!)

Just get right to the point. Once you watch it a couple of times, don’t need to watch again. The best is when they have a catchy song. Facts of Life. The Brady Bunch. Gilligan’s Island.

Most shows I watch now come with a skip intro or skip recap which I gladly do.

I like the classic stuff, only because they are a intro. These days you're lucky a show gets anything, a shame they cut back on it
