I've not burned incense in a long time, but I do like scented candles so burn them quite often in the fall and winter.

Adding to this topic: What's your favorite scented candle or incense you like to burn then?
Since I'm sensitive to smells, I no longer burn them anymore. However I did like lavender.

None ...no no no ... too afraid of waking up with the house on fire.
I never found an incense that I liked but I never tried the lavender one. Will have to do that.

My mom would often burn candles, she loved the different scents. After she passed though no one really burned them anymore, which is fine, it is not cheap to get a candle these days.

Another reason I haven't kept up burning candles is because I always viewed them as a fire risk with their somewhat open flames, not likely to start anything but one good freak accident and then everything is on fire.

A valid point. I think good websites DO say to not leave them unattended. But most people do anyways.

Used to burn candles and incense all the time. The smells started bothering both my hubby and I, so we just stopped. But, a nice campfire...that'd be cool!

I do like to burn candles, yes. I have quite a few candles that I like to light daily as well as wax melts with the burners as well.

Have an incense burner on my altar, which I obviously use for rituals and prayers. Sometimes I just burn some on the altar to freshen the room up - I think God will understand. The best for my uses is Gonesh sticks.

We always have candles burning, it makes the house smell lovely and they're just really relaxing.

I hate any kind of smokes. It doesn't matter if it's a good smell, as long as it's coming from a smoke, I'm not going to like it. It's why I don't like burning incenses or stay where they are burnt.
