www.familyhandyman.com/list/best-garden-hose-reels"Whether you tend an acre plot or a tiny vegetable patch, garden hose reels keep your yard neat and tidy for seasons of enjoyable watering...." My notes: Ours is similar to #5. Just a simple feature. We do have the ones that you can reel in where we use to store our soaker hoses so they don't get tangled. Which ones do you have? Do you have a preference to the style?

The one I use is just a simple wall mount, so you have to manually wrap it up once done.

www.familyhandyman.com/project/how-to-repair-a-garden-hose"A garden hose is an essential outdoor home tool, used for washing cars, watering plants, filling pools and rinsing off muddy pet paws. When it springs a leak (or two), there's nothing more frustrating as it sprays water in your face, on your clothes and down the storm drain - everywhere you DON'T want it to go. Fortunately, fixing a garden hose is a pretty easy task, and is a lot cheaper than buying a new one. I always try to repair hoses before replacing them, both to save money and to reduce my landfill contribution. Not all leaks are the same so every fix might require a different approach— there's more than one way to fix the most common leaks...." My notes: Do you know how to fix one? My husband has fixed a few of them for us. But once they get too rotten, we just have to scrap them. demonskeith,

www.familyhandyman.com/project/coil-garden-hose"Tame even the most unruly garden hose into a tidy bundle with this flip trick...." My notes: Now, how to coil those hoses up! We have a barrel my husband gets from work & wind them inside of it. We've also wound them on the outside. Depending on the type of hose.

Had one like #5 in the back yard but it was plastic and ended up snapping off where it was attached. Landlord didn't bother replacing it.
