healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2021/03/12/bearded-dragon-adoption.aspxStory at-a-glance Bearded dragons, with their docile nature and tolerance to handling, are the most popular pet lizard It’s a misconception, however, that bearded dragons are “easy” or hands-off pets that require little care Bearded dragons require a specialized omnivorous diet and carefully controlled habitat, with proper temperature gradients and UV exposure, light/dark cycles and humidity Bearded dragons need enrichment for stimulation, including places to climb, dig and forage In addition to never buying wild-caught reptiles, avoid buying a captive-bred bearded dragon at a pet store and look for one at a rescue organization instead My notes: I never had or considered a pet lizard. To me, doesn't seem right. Anybody have/ had one?

I wanted a gecko before it became an insurance mascot on TV LOL I remember playing a game with my husband's friend and there was a question about what was a gecko and I was the only one that knew it. By now everyone in the US knows it because of insurance commercials.
I wouldn't have minded having lizards growing up but I'm tired of taking care of pets now and prefer to go to the pet store or zoo to see them.
