This is something that seemed to fall out of favor. Maybe people just don't care. Too many misunderstandings on a simple gift & what it could imply. Have you given an apple or another gift to a teacher? Maybe you had your own child give something. I never did the quintessential apple, but I do remember at the Holidays, my mom would have me take some homemade fudge to give to my teachers when I was real young.

Nope, not an apple. I do remember giving one teacher a brown paper bag full of pecans....no kiddin'....heehee She had to crack them open, but, she still loved them!

I loved my teachers, but never gave them gifts as I was told by others that it might be viewed wrong aka bribing.

Never gave physical gifts either but if a particular teacher impressed me or made me enjoy their class, I'd tell them so.

Nope, not something I've ever done. The most I've ever done is giving them Christmas cards!

Not that I can remember. I don't remember giving gifts.
