Have you seen on some TV shows or maybe your own family has done it, people using slipcovers on their furniture? Some use cloth, others use plastic. Plastic I would think would be easier to clean but more of an annoyance to sit on. While we have used small blankets & sheets on our couch for our pets as they are easier to shake out, we’ve never had a full slipcover. Do you have them? If so, what furniture are they on?

I have a futon so yes I like to change the original black cover that came with it.

I've seen it on TV shows but never seen it in real life, I would think it is pointless to have chairs only to put plastic on them.

I seem to remember my parents using them at one time but quit later on.
